Like many farmers, Jay Lavery has taken advantage of technology and installed cameras on his farm. There is a camera in his barn as well as his hayloft, just so he can keep an eye on things.
Little did Jay know that one silly video he made to cheer up his friends and family would have the world keeping their eye on him!
About a year ago, Jay was in a good mood and wanted to share the vibes with his friends and family.
He filmed himself dancing to Sia’s “Cheap Thrills” and casually posted it on Facebook, where there’s no doubt his loved ones enjoyed it because they started sharing Jay’s video.
One thing led to another and over 11 million people have now watched Jay’s barn dance!
Here’s Your Daily Dose Of Fun:
It's that time of the year for the Lets Move Challenge. Dancing is how I stay warm in the barn and I never know when I'm going to break out into a dance. But what most people don't know is that 15 years ago I had a traumatic back injury that caused me to have several back surgeries including a discectomy and a spinal fusion and never ending back pain. Dancing along with yoga and meditation are my only alternatives to pain medication. So I hope this can inspire anyone to move in spite of pain and I hope this puts a smile on your face for the New Year.
