Ellen is from the Philippines and recently graduated from Notre Dame of Tacurong College, with a degree in elementary education.

Like most college students, Ellen studied long and hard to pass her studies and get her degree.

But shortly after being handed her diploma, Ellen was in a terrible accident that jeopardized everything she had worked for.

When the accident happened, Ellen was a couple of months away from taking the teacher’s board exam, which would grant her licensing which she needed to find a teaching job.

Sadly, Ellen had to undergo a very serious brain procedure that landed her in a coma for 10 days.
