You’ve probably heard the saying, “Not all superheroes wear capes” more than once because it’s true. Heroes come in all shapes and sizes, from all walks of life, from every different background imaginable.
The one thing they do have in common is their unbreakable spirit to do something courageous for someone else.
It’s hard to imagine what motivates a hero to be so selfless and full of courage, especially when the hero is two young boys.
A three-year-old girl is alive and well today living with her grandparents because of two brothers who saved her life on the day she was born.
The girl’s mother, Shelby Taylor, was 23 years old at the time she gave birth to her. She was newly married and already had a 16-month-old child.
She didn’t want her husband to be mad at her for being pregnant again, so she did it from him the entire pregnancy.
When it was time to give birth, Shelby did the unthinkable. She waited until her husband and older child had gone to bed, then birthed the new baby alone in the house.
