Just like writers, artists have creative blocks, too. Just ask Isabelle Staub, the innovative mind behind these re-imagined realistic Disney princess characters. Isabelle told DesignTAXI that she had been going through a major creative block when she decided to get herself unstuck by illustrating a few incredibly realistic Disney princesses.
“I’ve always loved Disney since I was a child, so I decided to paint the princesses in my own art style for fun,” she said in her interview with DesignTAXI.
The freelance illustrator, who has a huge following on Instagram, devoted between eight to 12 hours on each piece of digitally created art, working with both Corel and Photoshop. Not only are her princess images gaining worldwide notoriety, but Isabelle has also received requests to create a series of villains, too.
Although her fans have given her realistic princesses rave reviews, after maybe a few more realistic princess creations, Isabelle is ready to take on a non-Disney related project. In fact, she’s currently working on writing a book, complete with her own stellar illustrations.
We can’t wait to see what she does next!
