Female Teacher Fired Days After Her Wedding For Marrying A Woman

Your wedding is supposed to be the happiest day of your life. You and your significant other make the vow to love, honor, and cherish each other for the rest of your lives in front of family and friends.

It’s a day you will always remember and hold close to your heart.

Jocelyn Morffi couldn’t wait to marry the love of her life and did so earlier this month in a beautiful and loving ceremony in the Florida Keys.

She was over the moon when the newlyweds returned to Miami following their dream wedding but it turned south very quickly for Jocelyn shortly after she posted the wedding photos to Facebook.

Jocelyn was a first grade teacher and had worked at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School for seven years.

She was loved by the students and parents, but the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami didn’t love her choice of a spouse.

Jocelyn married her longtime girlfriend Natasha Hass over the weekend of Feb. 3rd and returned to school Thursday Feb. 8th. That’s when Jocelyn found out she no longer had a job.
