Having a pet is one of the most satisfying and rewarding feelings you can ever experience. Yes, puppies and kittens are a lot of work at first, but once they begin to acclimate to their new home, they become a member of the family.
As much as adults love their dog or cat, children fall in love instantly with their new furry friend. The bond between a child and their pup is nearly unbreakable.
A band of thieves tried to break that bond in Melbourne, Australia; however, they miraculously had a change of heart.
Elena Sardi and her four-year-old daughter, Maia Hood, returned home one morning from errands when they saw they had been broken into.
The thieves took a laptop, iPad, and jewelry, but what broke the family’s heart was that they had also taken Maia’s eight-week-old puppy, Sasha.
The family says their Labrador puppy suffers from a serious medical condition and being around other dogs could make Sasha fall seriously ill.

They enlisted the help of their neighborhood and local news outlets to help bring Sasha home.
