28-year-old Cameron-James Wilson is a self-taught photographer from the U.K. whose stunning Instagram posts of his favorite muse, Shudu, have garnered him a lot of attention and made the gorgeous model Instafamous.
Shudu, with over 66,000 followers, isn’t a real model. She’s not even a young woman with a dream of becoming a model. Because she isn’t real.
Shudu is a 3D creation that Wilson completely made up using 3D imaging that he taught himself how to use through YouTube videos and other online resources such as tutorials.
Wilson is receiving backlash because some feel that by the photographer creating a black model, he is taking modeling jobs away from real black women who struggle to find work as it is.
