Nine-Year-Old Girl Without Hands Wins Her SECOND National Handwriting Contest!

We all know life isn’t easy. There are ups and downs everyone goes through. Some of life’s challenges are by our own doing while others are beyond our control. Regardless of why the hurdles were put in front of us, the important part is how we get over them. No matter what adversity you’re facing in your life, Anaya Ellick may give you a little encouragement.

Annaya was born without hands but just won her second handwriting contest. It may sound impossible, but that is a word that isn’t in the nine-year-old’s vocabulary. When Anaya was in her mother’s womb, her arms never developed past her wrists. Her mom Bianca says doctors haven’t been able to figure out what caused the abnormality but Anaya doesn’t let it stop her.

She doesn’t wear prosthetics, either. When Anaya was a baby she began figuring out how to hold and move things on her own. She taught herself how to build with blocks and how to hold a fork. When she entered school, it was no different. She learned that in order to hold a pencil, she had to balance it between her wrists and use both arms to move the pencil to form letters.

Yea yea you tired of me posting ? but I’m posting until award day. Then I’m posting some more????❤️❤️❤️

Bianca proudly declared, “I don’t think I’ve ever heard Anaya say ‘I can’t do something,'” If the last two years are any indication, Anaya is destined to accomplish anything she sets her mind to.
