He may play for the Saints, but some parents of special needs kids think Drew Brees is one himself.
The New Orleans signal caller has always been known as being one of the “good guys” in football, dating back to his playing days at Purdue.
When he was drafted by the Chargers in 2001, being a good guy got drafted right along with him.
After fives years in San Diego, it was time for Drew Brees to move on.
He signed with the Saints in the summer of 2006 and won the Super Bowl following the season.
Something else happened during the winter of 2005/06: Drew Brees was the co-recipient of the Walter Payton Man of the Year award.
