For many families, “dreams” mean taking a vacation to Disney World or having their oldest child get a full-ride to college.
For one family in Waco, Texas, it meant that their sons, who are both bound to wheelchairs, could have an easier life.
Melissa and Jody Copp have two sons Calan, nine, and Lawson, five.
The family’s home had become rundown due to Melissa and Jody’s focus on their sweet boys and the financial restraint having two children with medical difficulties causes.
That’s where Chip and Joanna Gaines of HGTV’s Fixer Upper and former quarterback and universally great guy Tim Tebow come in.
The Copps’ home was to be featured on the show with a much-needed renovation.
Chip, Joanna, and Tim designed the Copps’ house into an Americans With Disabilities Act-compliant home which made life easier for not only Calan and Lawson, but Melissa and Jody, too.
