One of the most important lessons a little kid learns is to call 911 if there is an emergency.
It’s been well documented over the years that small children have called the emergency service after seeing something suspicious outside their window, finding a loved one hurt or sick, or even calling in house fires.
Truth be told over the years that children as young as four have used the lesson they learned of dialing those three numbers to save lives and keep others safe.
But saving Christmas by calling 911?
That reason is reserved for an adorable five-year-old in Mississippi.
TyLon Pittman watched The Grinch That Stole Christmas and definitely did NOT want that happening to him.
So in order to make sure it didn’t, unbeknownst to his family, he did what every concerned citizen does when they feel a crime is about to take place: He called 911.
Thankfully, the dispatcher that answered the call was understanding of TyLon’s plight and reassured him the Grinch would most certainly not be stealing the sweet boy’s Christmas.
She innocently posted the exchange on Facebook, which a Byram (MS) police officer saw and wanted to reassure TyLon even more that he was safe from the Grinch.
