For eight years, the stars have come out in support of the “Be Beautiful, Be Yourself Fashion Show” in Denver.
Hosted by the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, the event is the largest fundraiser in the country in support of Down Syndrome.
Celebrities attend charity events all the time, but what makes the “Be Beautiful, Be Yourself Fashion Show” stand out is that the focus isn’t the rich and famous – it’s the models that represent the condition.
Every model at the fashion show has Down syndrome and, as they have been since the event’s inception, they will be joined onstage by those celebrities.
In the past, Terrence Howard, Beau Bridges, Beverly Johnson, Hillary Swank, Queen Latifah, Alec Baldwin, and Peyton Manning (to name a few) have lent their time and hearts to the Global Down Syndrome’s biggest event.
But no one has given more time or heart that Jamie Foxx.
The Academy Award-winning actor’s sister DeOndra Dixon has Down syndrome.
